Lightning -> USB-C cable stopped working, basically new

Title says it.

This cable is undamaged
Has sat on my desk never stressed/stretched/bent
Basically looks new
No corrosion, no damage
Other cables work correctly as expected
Cable does not work in other USB-C ports/computers
Nothing wrong with it until one day it suddenly wouldn't work at all

@Jeff_W -- appreciate that, but I can't get past the serial number to chat with anyone because I don't have the box and the cable has no serial number on it. It is indeed an apple branded cable.

You can use the serial number of the iPhone you're using the cable with. This can be located in Settings > General > About.
