What does -2003F mean when I'm trying to start my MacBook Air?

My MacBook Air isn't starting. When I start in recovery mode, I get "support.apple.com/mac/startup -2003F". What does this mean?

MacBook Air keeps going to recovery. MacBook Air keeps going into ‘internet recovery’ mode. Get a spinning globe for 20 minutes, now it says support.apple.com./mac/startup-2003F Is it dead or a trip to the Genius Bar?

I'm reasonably sure it means your Mac is unable to contact Apple's recovery servers. The problem may be temporary.
