Audio description won’t turn off

I fixed it, go to settings > video and audio > audio format > change format to on . Select your format. I selected stereo since I don’t have surround sound. It is a multichannel issue. The narration went away.

Go to settings > video and audio > audio language > default.

I tried everything and no luck. It’s a corrupt file and I have also requested a refund. I bought it on Amazon prime for $3 less and it worked perfect. Can’t say much for the movie tho :(

If this happens for one particular title, regardless of Audio Description settings, then contact the iTunes Store staff about possible issues at the source.

We did the same. This movie plays fine on the iPad, Macbook Pro, etc. but the minute you put it on the TV, REGARDLESS of the brand, the very annoying audio description starts. Was forced to buy it on another streaming service and it worked perfectly! Called apple and they literally told me it was my settings on my TV even though I explained it was an issue on different brand TV's.

I switched Apple TV from a Samsung TV to a view sonic projector and it worked. The AD was not working anymore coinciding with my turning off. It’s a Samsung and Apple TV issue.

I’m emailing apple to get a refund! Waited so long to be disappointed. We bought it on Amazon prime and working seamlessly!!

I’m having this same issue with the same movie. Ordered through iTunes on my Apple TV and I have a Samsung Smart TV.

Same issue for me! Apple TV bug. Works fine on my iPhone and MacBook. Sucks! Fix this apple!

EXACTLY the same issue, but Vizio tv and Samsung tv. Oddly, when playing through my AirPod Pros there is no audio description.

BTW, plays fine on my MacBook Po and mobile Apple devices, r when I cast it back to the Apple TV’s, it reverts back to AD.

Same here. Asked for a refund but I want the movie.

I should note: this worked on an ATV running 15.2, but not 15.3. Never had an issue to begin with on ATV running 14.X or iOS on mobile devices.
