Welcome to Apple Support Communities.


We understand that your keyboard isn' working properly. Which keyboard are you using with your iPad? Please provide more details on this issue. If you're using Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Keyboard, make sure the keyboard is in the Type position and your iPad is running the latest software in Settings > General > Software Update.


Disconnect the keyboard, restart your iPad, and connect your keyboard.
