Locked out of my MacBook Air
Hi, I finally got a new iPhone and when I did I changed my Apple password. I foolishly then changed the password on my MacBook Air and then forgot the new password. I tried the methods shown on YouTube to fix it but mistakenly kept putting in my new Apple password when prompted for my Apple ID. Kept getting a message that ID could not be found. When I finally figured out that my Apple ID is my email address I had tried so many times to get in that I was completely locked out. I can't even get the utility notice the YouTubers talk about. I really do need a new computer but am not sure if I there is any way to transfer the data from my locked out computer to the new one. Am I out of luck or is there some way to save my situation?
