Changing the power button function on Mac

Is there any way that you can change what the power button on MacBooks before 2015 does? like changing the power button's function to sleep, lock, restart, shutdown

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.0

From the > drop down menu in the upper left:





I use Control Command Q all the time, basically puts it to sleep with in 2 seconds....
