How to send text for future delivery

I would like to send text to be delivered at a future date. The apps I’ve tested do not effectively accomplish this in the same way an android works. Are there any apple solutions to accomplish this?

Sending a prescheduled text I have just made the switch to iPhone from android (at the moment in living in regret LOL). One feature I had in Android was to be able to send a single scheduled text message. Is there away to do that on a iPhone. It looks like shortcuts is only designed to send messages on a frequency basis. I need to be able to send them once only.

schedule text to send later Is there really no way to schedule a text to send later? I used that all the time on my galaxy. I would not have switched if I would have known this. Please do something about this!

It is not a function of the Messages app.
