Adding notes to locations

Is there a way to add a note to a place I’ve been to in Apple Maps, for personal reference later?

Sharing a full map in iCloud Notes I want to share a full map structure in iCloud Notes with my colleague. This doesn't seem to be possible. I can only send separate Notes, but not the whole map. Linking Notes to Contacts Hi all, Is it possible to link Notes (from the Notes app) to Contacts, or vice versa? (Rather than simply making notes using the Note field within the contact). For my construction business, it would be very useful to have more detailed notes, including photos and maps (which can be done within Notes), also linked to Contacts. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated -- thanks! p
