Default video player on iOS doesn't work through AirPlay

Default video player on iOS doesn't work through AirPlay anymore. This happened after I downloaded and installed ios 15.2.1. I even upgraded to ios 15.3 and still had issues. Scenario:

Load video on my iPhone in Safari
Click Airplay and connect to my Samsung 7 Smart TV
It connects and phones says something like "This video is playing on "Samsung TV 7""
The TV just has a spinning circle and it never loads

Same result if I attempt to Airplay to my Mac as well.

Worked perfectly before the 15.2.1 update.

Sidenote:

If I use Screen Mirroring, I can view my iPhone screen via my TV, but if I attempt to go Full Screen in the video player, it fails just like I described above. If I get the video to play not in full screen on my phone, then it will play, but it won't be in full screen. I believe Airplay takes over when you go full screen.

Please look into this as this is very annoying.

I have looked over this forum and nothing has helped. I have also went through the help document that has been linked to many airplay issues. Those didn't help.
