Just restore your iPad in iTunes. 🙂
This says how to troubleshoot iTunes not recognizing your iPad. The title says windows but it give a link for Mac.

To be more specific, turn off the iPad, press and hold the home button continuously, at 10 seconds plug the iPad into your computer with iTunes already open, when a picture of a USB cable and iTunes appears release the home button. Viola
