Has anyone figured out a way to add a personal domain to iCloud email.
That doesn't require a separate web hosting option in order to set it up ?
I have a domain registered with a domain registrar and can do all the MX records etc.
But because Apple requires an email verification to set up the custom domain, it seems redundant to be required to set up an email account with a web host. If all I am going to do is then move it over to apple a few days later.
You don't need a web host to set up custom email domains. All you have to do is change the records it tells you to. I did it a few days ago.
