How can I add my ipad

Ensure that your iPhone and your iPad are logged in with the same Apple ID. Ensure that Find My setting has been set to ON on both devices.

On your iPhone, open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➡️ Find My ➡️ Findy My iPhone: Ensure that this is set to ON.

On your iPad, open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➡️ Findy My➡️ Findy My iPad: Ensure that this is set to ON.

Ensure that the iPad is listed in the device list of your Apple ID on your iPhone. On your iPhone, open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) : Scroll all the way down and you should see a list of devices that are signed on with the same Apple ID. Your iPad should be listed there.
