Mac not shut down properly notification error after Monterey update

After I updated my Mac to Monterey, every time I turn on my Mac I always get a notification that it wasn't properly shut down (when in I fact I did). Has anyone experienced this? What did you do to make the error notification go away?

Does the message have a report button? If so next time it happens click on the Report button and copy the report and paste it here in the text box for a reply in this forum click on the addition text icon. This is because the normal reply text box limits how much you can type.

If no Report button then download and run this app so we can find more information about your installation.

https://etrecheck.com/upgrade

It shows what is launched and other information and is very useful in finding causes of problems. After you first launch the app make sure you check Enable full disk access in the box in lower left.

After running the app use the app's feature to paste to clipboard and then past it in the addition text box

Your startup SSD has SLOW write:

    Write speed: 70 MB/s

    Read speed: 463 MB/s

Where is this located Internally?

You can connect a good Thunderbolt connected SSD which is a lot faster.

What happened to the internal drive originally installed?

I think iDrive may be the cause since EtreCheck reported thus crash 60 times:

Diagnostics Information (past 7-30 days):

    2022-02-04 19:48:59 IDriveDaemon.app - Crash (60 times)

        Executable: /Library/Application Support/IDriveforMac/IDriveHelperTools/IDriveDaemon.app

        Details:

CoreFoundation: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInval

            idArgumentException', reason: '*** -[__NSDictionaryM setObject:forKey:

]: object cannot be nil (key: CDPBackupeNewlineFilesList)'

libc++abi.dylib: terminating with uncaught exception of type NSExcepti

            on

            libsystem_c.dylib: abort() called

Try uninstalling pere iDrive's instruction and then reinstalling.

Hello thank you so much for checking. I upgraded from HD (the internal drive originally installed) to SSD because my Mac is starting to get really slow whenever I update to new OS. I have no problems with the speed now but you mentioned that my startup SSD is slow. May I know what does this mean? Sorry, I'm a total noob at this.

As for the iDrive, I just uninstalled and tried to shut down but I still get the same error message that I didn't shut down properly. :(

Your startup drive is the the one you boot up from.

A write speed of Write speed: 70 MB/s is a slow HDD and an SSD replacement for a HDD should be three time more faster.

WHen did you replace HDD with an SSD in relation to when you upgrade to Monterey? I ask since the Monterey upgrade requires an Apple drive be installed.

For the crashing I recommend you uninstall iDrive as a test. If problems persist, run Etrecheck again and post the results.
