How can I get rid of the "iCloud storage almost full" notifcation?

I have more than enough space on my iCloud. When tap the notification, I can either buy more space or choose 'not now' but when I tap 'not now' the notification doesn't go away.

How can I get rid of this? I have enough space, and I don't need more. The notification feels super intrusive to me.

I've done some googling and the only answer I found was a bit of a non-answer as the solution was to remove stuff from my iCloud and I will not be doing that. How can I make iCloud stop telling me that it's almost full?
