Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities! From your post, it sounds like you're seeing horizontal lines on your new MacBook Air. The photos included make it hard to see, and the lines might've been removed by the Moderator due to personal information.

That being said, as always, you'd want to make sure you're on the newest macOS version in case this might be software related: Update macOS on Mac. As always with any macOS update, you'd want to make sure you have a backup as a best-practice.
