Regarding customer satisfaction
I have always bought apple products and never had an issue but the kind of customer service im getting right now is disheartening.
the story starts like i was gifted an ipad by my friend which he bought when he travelled to the US In june 2021.
I opened the ipad and within weeks I realised face time didnt work.
I go to apple watford, they said delete the data and start again. I did that whole hassle of backup and data again. It still didnt work so they gave me replacement device (brown box one)
that device had a display issue, i did the whole hassle of transfer again ( not at this point i am wasting time and resources because i have to keep going to the store) i still kept my patience and did it. They saw the issue of the screen turning green and ipad shutting down on its on so they gave me a replacement again.
Around november 2021, i need to say i had no good experience with the device. THIS 3rd replacement, has a green pixel on the screen. Now as a customer i have trust in the company and this was done so many times i asked the store you need to give me a proper replacement device and not the recycled one because this is causing issue again and again. The store says oh this was purchased in the US WE CANT DO THIS AND YOU NEED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE ONLINE.
I did so, so i come online explaining the issue to 100 people throughout the time from june- november, this gentleman paulo said i will look in the issue and given assurance, was promised a new replacement (the one that comes in fresh new white boxes)
he kept telling me the whole of dec that they are out of stock.
by january 2022 he stopped reverting back to my mails.
so today i go to online help again, now i am back to square one im only eligible to repairs (because im on warranty) the whole scene of new device is gone, i cant get a refund because my friend cant find a receipt though i did share a mail of order details but we cant just find a proof of purchase. Not only that i have to travel to the store again and get written that the device is faulty. I mean i have had issue all this while.
i feel im just tossed from one person to other and there is no one who really cares about customer experience.
