JEANNIEK1,
Your email password and passcode are two different passwords on your device. Go to your web browser and try to log in in to your email and make sure the password is accepted. Be sure you're running the software version in Settings > General > Software Update. If you're constantly ebbing requested for your email password, remove the email account from Settings and then add the email account again.
Settings > Mail > Accounts > [affected account] > Delete Account. Then add your account again. Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Regards.

Hi JEANNIEK1,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
We understand that you're seeing multiple password requests. Where does this show? If you have recently changed your Apple ID password, make sure to enter your password in Settings > [your name].
Feel free to add more details to this post.
Regards.
I was assisting 2 friends set up their new iPads, and they entered a password and even wrote it down, but it took 8 to 10 tries by resetting and trying before it was accepted.
i have the same ipad 12.9 pro, and it continues to say my password is wrong for 3 or 4 of my email accounts. I don’t reset the password but I shut It down and reboot and then it accepts password. Alot of problems since update.
Will try …I am aware of differntreports for Apple password, but at one point while turnon my IPhone, it asked for my password, when irefused to enter, It said Could not download iPhoto, which i never iniated a request for!
