If you make a last Time Machine backup of that 2012 iMac, you can put the user content and configurations back into the new Mac during the initial setup phase when it asks you if you are migrating from a Time Machine drive.

I would inquire of the Apple Store if it is a service they provide, and any cost involved *before* you show up with your iMac. Having a prior Time Machine backup would still be a smart move on your part.
