Physical Apple Credit Card

Applied in Dec ‘22, working like a charm for Apple Pay. No luck for almost two months on ordering the physical card. Spent two weeks with Apple Support - elevated to engineering - no one had any idea why i can not put my hands on a physical card. I use one cc and pay off at the end of each month. Was hoping to move this process over to my T-Apple Physical Card, but after almost 60 days without resolve, I may just cxl the Apple Card and go back to Discover for my transactions.

Lets start at the beginning.

  1. you ordered the physical card through the iPhone app but it never arrived.
  2. You contacted everyone and they can't help.
  3. What error message are you getting when you go to Wallet app>tap Apple Card>tap three dots in circle>tap "order/replace physical card?"
  4. You signed out of your Apple ID and back in.
  5. you updated your address in all these places:

Address changes

on iPhone

    1. Go to settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>transaction defaults>address - update as needed
    2. Go to Wallet app>tap on any card>tap three dots in corner>tap address - edit as needed for all cards
    3. Go to settings>Apple ID (your name at the top)>payment & shipping>address - edit as needed.

on Mac

open Music>select iTunes Store on the left menu>go to the bottom where it says account>sign in>address - change as needed.

on PC

open iTunes and the rest of the instructions should be the same as for Mac.

I’m not trying to preach, so please excuse me if this comes across that way. Using the physical Apple Card is the worst way to use it. The Apple Card only pays 1% if you swipe the card. There are many credit cards for Fair Credit that’ll pay 1½%.

But, that wasn’t really your question. I suspect that FedEx or UPS has lost the delivery. Check with the shipper and confirm the delivery status. Now, the next step is to get the shipper to mark the delivery lost. Neither Goldman Sachs or Apple can do this. You have to report to the shipper it’s lost and it needs to get marked in the shippers system and Goldman Sachs’ system that it’s lost. Once that’s done in a couple of days GS can order a new card. This is rare event, I’ve only seen it happen a handful of times.
