My iPad says “You currently do not have any homes or invitations to homes”

Why does my iPad say “You currently do not have any homes or invitations to homes”. I have a home setup and my iPad is one of two hubs (I also have a HomePod Mini as a hub). If I open the Home app on my iPad, I can control all my accessories and create scenes and automations. But when I go into Settings>Home, it says “You currently do not have any homes or invitations to homes”. It’s not a huge deal since it’s not affecting my ability to control my home but is there something I can do to fix this?

iPad, iPadOS 15

Hi there Johnny,

Great question! We'd like to help however we can regarding the error you're seeing, despite being able to still use all of your Home accessories.

To better understand what's happening, we'd like to confirm the following with you:

  1. When did this first start to show?
  2. Does it only show on this specific iPad, or does it show on your other devices?
  3. Where exactly is this error showing?
  4. Have you noticed it only shows after performing a specific action on your iPad?
  5. We see you have iPadOS 15 installed from your post, but the latest is iPadOS 15.3. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Cheers!
