iCloud Backups

Does anybody know if it’s possible to access iCloud backups from years ago?

Long story short, I lost a large chunk of photos from around 2013-2016 due to IT issues. The pictures are from when I had an iPhone 5s and iPhone 6s and up until now have just accepted the fact that I will never get them back. However, I just thought, is it possible to access backups from them phones created that long ago between 2013-2016ish? I still have both phones (although my dad uses one now) and have never changed my apple ID etc.

Is there a shot at retrieving the back ups or not?

Only if you moved your backups to a location where you saved each. Otherwise, backups that old are likely gone.
