If I add people to my Allowed Notifications in Do Not Disturb (iOS 15.3), do I also have to add phone and/or text to the apps? I can’t tell if adding an app like Phone will allow notifications from everyone from that app or if it only applies to the people I added.

Thank you. Looked at those first. They didn’t really answer my question, but through trial and error I was able to determine that adding contacts to Do Not Disturb is sufficient. I get calls and texts from the contacts I added while Do Not Disturb is on. I do not need to add any apps.
