white bar across the bottom of my screen
Does anyone know how to get rid of the white bar across the bottom of my screen please above the words swipe up to unlock

Hello,
The white bar is just an indicator that you should use it to swipe up to unlock the phone.
If you want to skip the step, turn on raise-to-wake:
Use Raise to Wake on your iPhone - Apple Support
