Datalogger USB doesn't work

I have datalogger (Lascar Electronics EasyLog EL-SIE1) which according to the manufacturer should work on an Apple system, access through a browser. I have tried 5 different Apple-Systems (MBP, MBA and iMac) with different cables. The datalogger doesn't detect the system (USB should appear in the screen) and the system doesn't see the datalogger. I have tried a windows laptop, everything fine as it should be. So apparently the datalogger is not the problem. Is there some kind of a security setting that blocks the datalogger? I have a standard configuration, no virusscanner.

Thanks,

Frans

Try using a different USB device and compare your results... doesn't sound compatible or it is defective.
