I have a new iPhone 11. I gave changed provider from O2 to Vodafone. I’ve kept my old phone number but my messages are coming from my email address..
I’ve gone into settings, message, send and receive but the phone number that is there is buffering and doesn’t actually load.
can anyone help?

Open Settings ➡️ Messages ➡️ iMessage: Set this to OFF.
Restart the iPhone.
Open Settings ➡️ Messages ➡️ iMessage: Set this to ON and activate Messages again.
