I'm looking at used carrier unlocked iPhone SEs 2nd Gen on eBay. I'm on a budget, and am not very tech oriented. My question is: I've read about Activation codes and iCloud being unlocked, but don't fully understand the issue. What should I ask the seller in regard to the phone's Activation and iCloud status. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. George

Unfortunately I don't know of a way that you can check remotely so the only thing I can suggest is to thoroughly research the seller and also check ebay's buyer protection policies.
In addition to the excellent comments provided by FoxFifth, double-check eBay's policy on getting refunded should the iPhone you find on their service turns out to be defective/locked, etc.
