External Hard Drive not being recognised - Macbook Air M1

Hey,

I've recently bought a refurbished Macbook Air M1. After successfully reformatting my SeaGate 2TB external drive to be compatible in order to read off of and write onto, I stupidly hard-unplugged the drive.

Upon plugging it back in, the hard drive doesn't seem to be recognised at all... Not in finder, not in disk utility.

I have tried a variety of prompts on the terminal to mount, unmount, etc. All of which appeared to work in terminal, yet still not showing up on finder or disk utility.

Have I damaged the drive? Or has MacOS run fsck on the drive, if so can this be undone?

Thank you!

If you open disk utilities is the drive shown? If so try First Aid but if that does nothing then do another erase, format. You could also try connecting to another Mac and see if it is recognized.
