In the settings app for iPhones and apple watches, there is an option that says "Allow payments on Mac - Use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch/ iPhone to confirm payments on your nearby Mac." What dos having this on or off do? I recently used Apple Pay on my Mac. I had my card in my wallet on the iPhone and Apple Watch but it did not appear on my Mac and I had to add it. The allow payments on Mac was on for both my phone and watch so I thought I didn't need to add it to the Mac. So now I am wondering what having this setting on does.
