The People Album in Photos

Why don't faces identified with the same name group together? I have to find all the duplicates and drag them to one album. This didn't used to be this way. Also, when I go to a particular person's album I don't see all their photos. I have to hunt and hunt for their face someplace else.

iPhotos was so much easier and better.

Is there a way to sort or group people?.

Alas, it seems that Google keeps getting better and Apple keeps getting worse.
