windows migration assistance

I am not able to open or install as it says not supported in MacOS. Any other ideas of transferring or setting up Mac from Windows

To transfer your files from a Windows PC to a Mac both computers need to have Migration Assistant activated. You can download and install M.A. for Windows. M.A. is already installed in your Mac as part of the computer's operating system. Be sure to connect the two computers with a USB cable and do not attempt to use Wi-Fi. It will almost always fail or it will corrupt your data. Then follow Migration Assistant's directions.
