Software update for Apple Watch series 2

Currently updated with iOS 6.3. Needed iOS higher iOS to continue use Apple Watch apps. After the latest update, it is still stay at iOS 6.3. How to do it yo get updated to higher iOS?

A Series 2 watch isn't capable of 7.0 or above.

WatchOS6 is the maximum a watch 2 will update to.
