Apple Maps on screen language
IPhone SE - on screen language I maps changed from English to French. I have checked all phone settings and find no settings on French. How do I change this back to English????

We understand that the language in the Maps app is not your preference.
You mentioned checking the settings on your device already. When you checked Settings > General > Language & Region is your device language set to your preference and the region set to your region?
If so, let’s force quit the Maps app and check again. Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch
If the issue persists, then let’s restart your device. Restart your iPhone
