V02 Max only recording hikes

Some time last year, my health app stopped detecting and/or recording data for my walks and runs. My hikes, however are getting recorded. Any thoughts for why this happens? I have an Apple Watch. Thank you!

health app not recording on watch or iphone. The health app on my watch isn’t recording properly, I use it every day to track walks & exercise. After my usual hour of brisk walking there was no data. I set the exercise app to indoor walk ( often have problems with outdoor walk) for the home stretch and it recorded 6.1 minutes but no distance, heart rate, calories etc. and hasn’t even imported it to the health app. The health app on watch & phone show only 1 exercise minute & 2 stand hours and 8% move!

Activity and health not syncing any idea why the health app on my iPhone recorded my cycle ride as 27.4km and my Apple Watch and ‘activity’ only recorded half of the ride? It was still recording when I got home and ‘ended’ the session but the data on the activity app says I finished at 18km. The watch is a fairly new purchase and all other runs/cycles have been accurate.

Activity circle Apple Watch Activity circle doesn’t record activity. I can walk for 70 minutes but it will only record 7-15 minutes
