I have a Mac Air and I am trying to connect it to 2 monitors. I purchased a hub which I have both HDMI cables to the monitors and the hub plugged into the mac air. Only one of the screens is showing my desktop. Any suggestions>?

We purchased 2 LG monitors and a hub. I would like to use both screens at once. We plugged both monitors to the hub utilizing the HDMI cables and then plugged the hub the Mac Air port. Only one monitor shows my screen. What do we need to do to be able to use both screens?

I would think the sad part here is that the Intel-based 2020 MacBook Air could support two external display. However, Apple removed that capability with the 2020 M1 model.

If you purchased the M1 version within the last 14 days, you should return it for a full refund as it doesn't meet your display support requirements.

it is a disgrace that after expending big money in products that are in theory high Apple quality, we cannot do simple tasks as connecting more than 1 external monitor to our very expensive Apple laptop.... not acceptable. Apple - wake up!

Read the product specifications before buying. Do you buy a car without looking at the manufacturers equipment sticker first?
