Docking station is so thin, its hard to read the icons
Changing in system preference in Dock and Menu bar is not making any effect

Hover your mouse cursor over the dividing line on the right hand side of the dock:
It will turn into an up/down arrow, click down and drag upwards to enlarge, downward to make smaller:
