i clicked a link and got a pop up that looked like it was from my control center saying my phone had been hacked and that i needed to download the chary adblockx app or i would lose everything. I downloaded the app but then realized that might be a scam so I deleted it even though it told me I would lose everything and stay hacked if I did. How do I know if I’ve been hacked or not?

Your iPhone has NOT been hacked. You fell into a scam where the other side got you to download an app. Was the app downloaded from the App Store and directly on your iPhone? Was it Free or paid?
To be on the safe side and to end your worries, change the password to your Apple ID by opening Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➡️ Password & Security ➡️ Change Password.

Thanks for sharing that information. The other side’s goal was to get money out of you for an app that doesn’t do anything.
