I am unable to connect to iCloud on iPad

I am unable to connect to iCloud on IPad but can on web. I have a notification to update phone number. I have chatted with Apple tech support but get disconnected x 2 when trying to resolve issue. Now I can’t even send messages.

  1. Go to: support.apple.com
  2. Scroll Down to "Tell us how we can help"
  3. Select: Get Support
  4. Keep: selecting items until you get the chat option.

A4. Go Here: If you can't Send or Receive Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Perform the following...

  1. Change It Here: https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage/section/information
  2. Click: Reachable At
  3. Then, add the phone number


No Success?

So, contact Apple back, having them modify the phone number to what it should be.

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
