Is it possible to set up automatic monthly payments via Apple Pay? If so, how?

Apple Pay is a contactless method of paying with your current cards.
Apple Cash cannot be set up for auto-pay since you cannot get the numbers for the Apple Cash card.
What specific card are you asking about?
