Procreate

I bought a new iPad and today and Set it up using the same account on my older iPad. I’m trying to download it on my new iPad but it says I have to pay again, is there something I can do?

iPad, iPadOS 14

Hi OmaruMaki,

Looks like you're trying to download Procreate on your new iPad, but are being charged for it.

This will only happen if you're trying to download an app using a different Apple ID. If you still have the old iPad, double check that the Apple ID under Settings > [your name] is the same. You can also confirm if the purchase shows in your purchase history.

If you don't see Procreate there, its likely you've used a different Apple ID in the past and Procreate is tied to that one. If you DO see Procreate in your purchase history, repeat these steps on your new iPad to make sure you're signed into the same account and then reach out to Apple Support for additional help at that point.

OmaruMaki,

Sure thing!

As to an issue within Procreate itself, the best bet is probably to reach out to the app developer.

If you're using an Apple Pencil, take a moment to clean the tip with a soft clean cloth to make sure there's no input error there. Also, restart your iPad:

If you still notice stability or sensitivity issues in the app, Procreate Supports contact info is below.

Take care.

Thank you so much for that.

I’ve just left it as I was too excited to get drawing lol.

i have another question if that’s okay.

I’ve downloaded procreate but the brushes are stabilised internally? They are all lagging like they’ve been stabilised to the max but when I check it, it’s not on at all, it’s making it very difficult to sketch. Do you have any idea what may be causing that? Or how i could possibly fix it ?

thank you
