How to take off password on a file in the files app

So I have a file that has a password on it, I know the password but don't want to keep putting it in. I just want to take it off but it does even give me a option to do it.

iPhone 12, iOS 15

Removing a Password:

A. Use a Computer for This:

It appears you're using an iPhone for this. So, use a computer to configure this, as it would be more user-friendly doing so.

B. What's the File Type?:

Removing it may not be an option, depending on the application. It is the way the Developer's literally developed the app. This would be something you would have agreed to upon installing and the app. So, providing the file type may get you the answer you need.

C. Whom to Contact:

Contact the Developer of the app. If purchased through Apple, you'll find their Contact Us info in the app's site of the Apple Store.
