Battery cycle count

Hi my MacBook Pro 2009 has a battery cycle count of 445 is this still ok? It says condition normal but when it’s fully charged the percentage only says 98% not 100

Battery Cycle Count increased automatically even when I didn't charged I just Got MacBook Air M2 and Its just placed on my desk for a day and now I am using the battery which was around 86% when I got it. The current battery percentage is 32% and its showing that my battery cycle count is 3. Would please explain how it got increased automatically. From my understanding cycle count is usage of battery from 0-100.
