When I’m taking a picture of my Mac book pro screen, my iPhone has a square symbol in the lower right hand corner that pops up. It is a rounded corner square - with four smaller inside corners- with three lines running horizontally across the center. It only comes up when - I’m taking a pic of laptop screen. What is it and how do I turn it off? Thanks

Hi Eric. Thank you for responding. Here’s the symbol. I’d like to find an explanation by apple on the use and setup of this symbol. Thanks

Hello Curious3482,

From your post it appears you are wondering about a symbol that appears while taking a picture of a MacBook Pro screen.

You can see some of the icons used in the Camera app here: Take and edit photos on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If the one you are referring to is not shown, if you could post a screenshot of it, other users here may be able to help.

Have a good day.
