How to set up backing up my MacBook Air.

I have the good size external SeaGate hard drive now.

I have reformatted the drive for Mac.

I can copy files to SeaGate hard drive.

How do I set up regular backups?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot. All has worked out OK. The Time Machine has backed up everything to my SeaGate external drive
