Hello Alanaortega,

It sounds like you want to know how to fix an unknown part.

If this is your camera, your related article About genuine iPhone cameras is a great one to follow. Note that when you see an Unknown Part message, it could mean:

  • "Was replaced with a nongenuine part
  • Was already used or installed in another iPhone
  • Isn't functioning as expected"
  • Also "This message doesn't affect your ability to use your iPhone or access your camera."

If the camera is functioning as expected, take a look at If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working.

For other genuine parts articles see:

If the issue persists or you want to have your iPhone serviced, you can:

  • Contact Apple Support or use this Get Support link for assistance.
  • Locate and contact your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider Apple - Find Locations.
    • Note: Call or make a reservation before going.
  • See if you can create a repair online through Apple iPhone Repair and Service
    • Note: If necessary, select your country or region from the dropdown menu at the top of the page and click continue to have it reflect relevant information for your location. Not all locations have this option.

Hope this information helps.
