How to hide a table?

Hello,

In some templates, like in Net Worth for example, the charts are referring to data in a hidden table. You can see it by clicking on one of the charts in Net Worth and pasting it into a new blank sheet. How do I hide a table? I want to create a chart like this and want the table containing the chart data to be hidden.

Thanks in advance!

If you click a chart and Edit Data References you will see which cells are reference and in which table.

If you paste the chart into a new sheet, click it and then Edit Data References you will see a blue dot appear up in the "tab" for the sheet that contains the data. The table isn't hidden. It just stayed on the original sheet.

I don't know of a way to hide tables in Numbers other than move it out of site on the canvas. You can also place an opaque shape over a table and choose Arrange > Lock. However, another user can simply choose Arrange > Unlock and move the shape to see the table again.
