No serice and voicemail notifications keeps popping when I turn airplane mode on and off

Hi,

i have been facing this issue for several days since I traveled can’t get any cellular service.

i have tried many sim from different carriers none of them seems to work they work on other phones but not mine when I insert a SIM card the first thing I get is voicemail notification but can’t open it since I have no cellular service and no phone is not locked to a specific carrier I went to the settings and it’s showing no sim restrictions I only sometimes get a poor cellular service enough for to receive message but can’t make a call when I click on network it’s says phone not allowed I tried many methods like updating my carriers in settings didn’t get any updates resetting network settings and software update restarting my phone none of the worked.

Hi Ptoompam,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. Being able to use your iPhone is certainly important, and we'd like to see if we can help out. As we understand it, your device doesn't seem to provide a cellular connection and you've tried SIM cards from a number of carriers, and you've also reset your network settings. Is that right?

You mentioned you were traveling recently. This might be helpful If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad:

"Check your coverage area

Make sure that you're in an area with cellular network coverage. Then follow these steps:

  • To turn cellular data on or off, go to Settings, then tap Cellular or Mobile Data. If you're using your iPad, you might see Settings > Cellular Data.
  • If you're traveling internationally, make sure that your device is set up for data roaming. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Data Roaming."

If that doesn't help, it might be a good idea to get in touch with the carrier whose SIM card you intend to use. If everything checks out on their end, use this link to get in touch with Apple to look into this further: Get Support

Kind regards.
