I bought the 20w apple charger in september of last year and it has already stopped working. It hasn’t even been a full year. I purchased this from Target, would I be able to exchange it for a new one?

I would start with Target to find out what their policy is on returns. Apple provides a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, so you can try contacting your local Apple Store to see if they can help you out.
