Screen recording not showing up

I wanted to record a full gameplay of an app to share. This video lasted around 3-4 hours. Usually, if there is no spaces available , then there would be an error message saying they can’t record. However, this time, there’s zero notification. It’s been 1 day, and still nothing. I tried to clear as much spaces as possible, but nothing. I noticed that the other section takes a lot of gb than usual so I would have assume the recording is somewhat there, but I don’t know what to do.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your screen recording did not save and you did not receive a notification of any error.


Does anything similar happen when you try a shorter screen recording? If not, it may be due to storage space as you mentioned. You've taken some great steps to make sure that doesn't happen in the future. If you haven't already, check out How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch for tips.
