Object tracking not showing in FCPX

I have the new 16 inch M1 MacBook. I have FCPX (10.6.1). When I am using a shape mask I don't see the option for object tracking. Any help would be appreciated!

You first need to add a tracker to some object, and then associate that tracker to the new shape mask.

I’m not even showing the cinematic effect option in my inspector. I don’t think something is installed. Thoughts?

I don’t think masks can track. I think only objects can track.

Cinematic is tricky. You have to make sure the media is imported correctly and the sidebar file isn’t lost.
