Contacts missing

I have many missing contacts they disappeared yesterday , what should i do ?

If you are syncing Contacts with iCloud, see this for help.

Restore contacts stored in iCloud on iCloud.com - Apple Support

If you are including Contacts in your backups, you can restore a backup that contains those contacts. When you restore a backup, you overwrite the current contents on your device.
